EVENT | Century Tuna Superbods 2016

And since it's summer time, it's officially hot in the Philippines and we can expect the showdown of physique in the coming days to make the temperature hotter.

Century Tuna Superbod 2016 has started to make the season sizzle by introducing this year's group of men and women all vying for the title and becoming the face of Century Tuna.

Out of the 26 contestants this year, I took the liberty of picking out the front runners. I won't claim any expertise on selecting the best bods from equally gorgeous people, but I do tend to think that Century Tuna leans on the ones who exudes not just muscles and curves, but also proportion. So without further ado, here are my top 3 picks for the men and women.

ARTICLE | Easter and the Resurrection Sunday... A Closer Look at the Festivity

Happy Easter Sunday!
Or should I say, a meaningful Resurrection Sunday. :)

There are  contentions on the celebration of Easter. To most Roman and Orthodox Catholics, Easter is a feast that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. To other sects however, Easter is not a Christian celebration and was actually pagan in nature. Some of these Christian denominations that do not celebrate Easter are the Mormons (Seventh Day Adventist Christ) and Jehovah's Witness. To them, Easter was not mentioned in the Bible so it doesn't count as a Christian event.

EVENT | That Special Song of Good Friday

Expat in the City wishes everyone a very meaningful Holy Week commemoration.

How are you spending this very special time of the year? As for me, I went to the Church with my mom and sister. It was a 4-hour mass at the St. Ferdinand Cathedral but that's okay. I always go with my mom and sister to church every Good Friday. This year is very special because I have not been with them for the last two years, so I am very happy to spend time with them at the Church.

TRAVEL | Ever Been to Quezon Province? Well You're In For A Treat

(It's almost 2am and I'm getting a little sleepy but here comes the last article for today)

Since it is Holy Week and people have started to travel to several places, I would like to point out that there are a few good places that tourists can visit in Quezon Province, and as a treat I'll share with you a personal itinerary. :)

JOURNAL | Life Realities Or The 11 Rules by Bill Gates

Quite recently, I have been reading this book entitled "The New New Thing" authored by Lewis. The book talks about the development at Silicon Valley and how pretty much the Internet Age started. It is an eye opener in the sense that it capitalizes on the idea that there is so much money in the market; only takes a person's will to grab them. And to do that, this person must be willing to sacrifice a lot.

ARTICLE | From Fit to Fab... Dealing With Weight Problems

In 2013, I moved to Oman to work at a Destination Management Company. I was around 57 kgs when I arrived in that Middle Eastern country. After two years, I inflated to around 65 kgs... and it's not just physical that affected me, my mental and emotional health were also casualty.

REVIEW | Hair Dat Comb Salon For Men and Women

These days, one's hair becomes a deciding factor on whether you'll have an awesome or dreadful day.

There are days when you go out and feel like, wow my hair's all so smooth nothing can go wrong. But most of the time, you end of feeling screwed when your hair is so messy. So it's important to make sure that you keep your hair neat.

ARTICLE | Blog Articles Are Not Wikipedia

You know what makes blogging different is the fact that blog articles are supposed to be following KISS - Keeping It Short and Simple.

Readers do not have the patience to go through whole lengths of articles. Wikipedia will do the job for them. But personally, what I believe makes a blog article effective is the personal touch that the writer adds to it (in a manner that exudes a universal appeal, and not confined within the scope of the writer only). It also enables the readers to use the information for their personal consumption.

ARTICLE | Graft and Corruption, Defined

Graft refers to the acquisition of money or position through dishonest means. The word probably comes from the idea that such profit is added to, or grafted onto, legitimate political enterprise. Examples of graft by an office holder include accepting money for political favor and awarding government contracts to firms in which the office holder has an interest.
